ePAN to Normal PAN Card Application

PAN holder details is printed on Normal Card by Income Tax Department. It has PAN number printed on top and contains PAN holder's name, date of birth, father's name. It also has Hologram which makes it genuine ID proof for its holder. This is why Normal PAN Card from ePAN is asked to by banks or other financial institutions as proof of Identity.

Some Banks or Financial Institutions ask to present Normal PAN Card as PAN proof even though we have ePAN copy while opening bank account or any work related to loans. At such moments it is necessary to convert ePAN to Normal PAN Card.

You can get Normal PAN Card from ePAN by filling up the above ePAN to Normal Card Application Form and complete all steps with required documents.

To convert ePAN to Normal PAN Card, you need to Apply for 'ePAN to Normal PAN Card' using above Application Form and get Normal Card delivered at home as per address mentioned in the form.

Following documents are required to convert ePAN to Normal PAN Card :

1. Marriage Certificate.
2. Birth certificate issued by the Municipal Authority or any office authorised to issue birth.
3. Aadhaar Card.
4. Central Government Health Scheme Card.
5. Domicile certificate issued by the Government.
6. Passport.
7. Driving License.
8. Matriculation certificate or Mark sheet of recognized board.
9. Election Card / Voter ID.
10. Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme photo card.
11. Affidavit sworn before a magistrate stating the date of birth.
12. Photo identity card issued by the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking.
13. Pension payment order.

2. Central Government Health Scheme Card.
3. Election Card / Voter ID.
4. Bank certificate in Original on letter head from the branch(along with name and stamp of the issuing officer) containing duly attested photograph and bank account number of the applicant.
5. Pensioner card having photograph of the applicant.
6. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly.
7. Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme photo card.
8. Passport.
9. Aadhaar Card.
10. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Gazetted officer.
11. Driving License.
12. Arm’s license.
13. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Municipal Councilor.
14. Ration card having photograph of the applicant.
15. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Parliament.

1. Post office passbook having address of the applicant.
2. Aadhaar Card.
3. Property Registration Document.
4. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Parliament.
5. Credit card statement less than 3 months old.
6. Bank account statement less than 3 months old.
7. Consumer gas connection card or book or piped gas bill.
8. Depository account statement less than 3 months old.
9. Allotment letter of accommodation issued by the Central/State Government less than 3 years old.
10. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Municipal Councilor.
11. Employer certificate in original.
12. Driving License.
13. Passport of Spouse (Husband/Wife).
14. Landline/Broadband connection bill less than 3 months old.
15. Election Card / Voter ID.
16. Latest property tax assessment order.
17. Domicile certificate issued by the Government.
18. Passport.
19. Electricity Bill less than 3 months old.
20. Water Bill less than 3 months old.
21. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly.
22. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Gazetted officer.

Normal Card from ePAN will be delivered to PAN Holder's Home Address by Courier mentioned in PAN Form while applying ePAN to Normal Card. Address proof having same address needs to be submitted along with application.
