What is HUF PAN Card?

PAN stands for Permanent Account Number. It is ten-digit unique alphanumeric number. The fourth character of PAN reflects the PAN holder's status. The letter 'H' represents HUF (E.g. AYZHG2108L).

What Documents are required for HUF PAN Card Application?

For HUF PAN Card following documents are required:

1. HUF Deed
2. HUF Affidavit
3. HUF Gift Deed

1. Arm’s license.
2. HUF Deed / Gift Deed / Affidavit.
3. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Gazetted officer.
4. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Municipal Councilor.
5. Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme photo card.
6. Bank certificate in Original on letter head from the branch(along with name and stamp of the issuing officer) containing duly attested photograph and bank account number of the applicant.
7. Photo identity card issued by the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking.
8. Passport.
9. Aadhaar Card.
10. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly.
11. Ration card having photograph of the applicant.
12. Central Government Health Scheme Card.
13. Election Card / Voter ID.
14. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Parliament.
15. Driving License.
16. Pensioner card having photograph of the applicant.

9. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly.
10. Credit card statement less than 3 months old.
11. Allotment letter of accommodation issued by the Central/State Government less than 3 years old.
12. Bank account statement less than 3 months old.
13. Driving License.
14. HUF Deed / Gift Deed / Affidavit.
15. Passport of Spouse (Husband/Wife).
16. Depository account statement less than 3 months old.
17. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Gazetted officer.

19. Water Bill less than 3 months old.

21. Post office passbook having address of the applicant.
22. Property Registration Document.
23. Domicile certificate issued by the Government.

Who has to sign the PAN application for HUF?

HUF's Karta needs to sign the PAN Card Form. If he/she is unable to do sign then left thumb impression is required on form.

How HUF PAN Card will be delivered?

HUF PAN Card will be delivered to HUF Karta's Address by Courier mentioned in PAN Form while applying pan card for minor online. Address proof having same address needs to be submitted along with application.
